We had a couple big days last week on our current slate roofing project. The large front section of roof had all its rotten shakes removed, insulation installed, sarked and battened and all ready to install the lovely new Canadian Glendyne Slate. We had so many big trailers filled with the old shakes, our apprentice has been working very hard getting the trailers filled and the site cleared. The shakes have been making great fire wood for the customer, neighbours and friends although we still have a lot being taken to the tip!
