Update of our slate re-roof and extension project in Warrawee – All going very well, front of the main house has been stripped of all old rotten timber shakes, new breathable sarking installed and new treated 75mm x 25mm Oregon roofing battens fixed. Roof lined out and loaded with new Glendyne Canadian slates all ready to install. Front roof is interesting as we have 3 curved zinc dormers to slate around. Up and over section of first section nearly all done, lots of fiddly sections including 3 dormers with mitred hips and ridge plus 6 zinc valleys. Looking forward to getting the lovely zinc roll top ridge installed!
